Owning more than one of any breed is still up to the pet owner since it takes a significant amount of effort in giving them all their needs. Of course, these needs do not only mean that you will provide for their physical daily needs, but also the significant time and affection that is vital for their growth and development. You must be willing to give your best effort in all the aspects of your life when you decide to get a dog.
One of the major advantages of keeping a Labradoodle is their easy to care coats you won’t have any problem in terms of grooming them, and it can help you save on grooming expenses as well. Their coats are easy to brush and it doesn’t need regular brushing. As mentioned earlier, they are “hypoallergenic” dogs which are another advantage for people who have allergies.
They generally gets along with other dogs or pets as long as they are properly socialized and introduced, and even if they’re not you can be rest assured that your Labradoodles will get along with them just fine. They can also be good but quite active lap dogs; they’ll constantly kiss you, lick you and move around you! These dogs are highly trainable and they also make a good watch dog. They are agile, very smart, and very active which is why kids love them. They’re a fun – loving family companion that will love you and care for you for quite a long time!
When it comes to the disadvantages, Labradoodles may not be suitable for people living in tight – space apartments because they needs lots of exercise and a space to play. They tend to be a bit destructive when bored and if you’re leaving in a small house, then you must not leave them alone because for sure your home will get thrashed.
Their naturally active and curious attitude can sometimes lead to trouble if they’re not properly trained. They don’t do well in isolation, can be quite hard to handle or train and they could also be costly for your family budget.
If you want to sign them up for a kennel show, they may not be allowed since the breed is not yet officially recognized by several major dog registries. You can however sign them up for dog competitions like dog racing or some kind of trick contests but maybe not for showing or the ‘pageants of dogs.’
