“A Truffle of Information on Dementia”
Just what I was hoping to read: definitions, and prognoses, But there was more information on each type of dementia that is useful. Also all of the categories and dementia types that were included opened my eyes to what is out there. My dad had PSP but not much was known about it in the early 1980’s. Thanks for including that.

This book is not packed with scientific information and far below graduate level reading, HOWEVER, as an intern I am finding it useful for wording when I have completed assessments and am doing final write ups…particularly for dementia’s I am not familiar with. So, not a brilliant book, but iseful.
“Helpful”
Learned that the results of an MRI for headaches was normal for my age… a relief.
“Fast, easy, yet comprehensive.”
Fast and easy basic information on the array of dementias effecting people.
“THE Book You Want on this subject”
I am a Certified Activity Leader trained, in particular, to work with residents in Memory Care diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s (a form of dementia). I purchased one copy, read it, then ordered more for our company training. It’s information is up to date, simply written for easy comprehension. Excellent resource for the newly diagnosed, health workers, or family of someone recently diagnosed.
“Easy to understand”
Very informative, covered a lot of material, but yet easy to understand. I would recommend this book to someone inquiring about dementia or Alzheimer’s.
“Perfect Purchase”

“The title says it all -“
If you are in the field or have a loved one inflicted, this is a good book to have in your library. This is an awful disease – and it is very complicated to understand.
“This book is worth reading if someone you love has dementia”
I gained knowledgeable about dementia from reading this book. You will also. Some parts are too technical for the average reader.
